WAC
The World Affairs Center, more commonly called WAC, is one of the first American college library buildings given by Andrew Carnegie. In 1962, the building was converted into the Pettibone Center for World Affairs.
WAC serves as the headquarters for an extensive array of international studies, overseas study programs, modern and classical language studies, and a computer-based interactive language laboratory. The College is a founding member of the International 50, the leading colleges in preparing students for international service, diplomacy, and scholarship. Students from all over the world come here for undergraduate studies, and, inversely, half of the students choose to study abroad while at Beloit.
