International first-year applicants
1. A Completed Common Application for Admission
It is our preference that student's apply through the Common Application website where our supplement is also posted and is part of the application process.
Alternatively, you may apply via the Common Application paper form. Students applying on paper must also complete the Beloit College supplement, available here in PDF format.

2. $35/US Application Fee (payable to Beloit College)
The $35 application fee may be paid by international money order or by personal check. All checks must be denominated in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. Because of processing costs, checks drawn on foreign banks cannot be accepted.
The application fee may also be paid by credit card online.
3. Official Transcripts of Secondary School Course Work
Transcripts must list all courses taken and the grades received (if applicable), or results of post-secondary cumulative examinations (G.C.E., I.B., S.P.M., M.C.E., etc.)
Transcripts and examinations must be in English and sent directly to Beloit College by the school, examination board, or certified translator.
4. Secondary School Report Form
A completed Secondary School Report must be submitted by the appropriate school official.
5. Teacher Letters of Recommendation
At least one teacher recommendation is required.
6. Admissions Tests
Students whose first language is not English must submit the results of either the TOEFL exam, or the IELTS.
7. A Completed International Student Financial Declaration
All international applicants, whether applying for financial aid or not, must submit a "Statement of Financial Responsibility" and a letter from a bank certifying available financial resources. These items provide documentation of assured sources of financial support for each of the years the student intends to study at Beloit College. We will accept either the Beloit College Declaration of Finances or the College Board's International Student Financial Aid Application (ISFAA).
In addition, students who wish to be considered for financial assistance must complete an International Student Application for Financial Aid. We accept either our own Beloit College International Application for Financial Aid or the College Board's International Student Financial Aid Application (ISFAA).
Optional Components
You may wish to submit a sample of your creative work or composition (poetry,
photography, art, music tape, research, etc.) to supplement the required application materials. We will be unable to
return what you send to us; so please send only copies, slides or photographs of your work.
