Extra-Curricular and Personal Activities

Activities outside of the classroom reveal a great deal about a student's interests, commitments, and priorities.

Beloit students, in general, are very involved in campus life. For example, 70% play varsity, club, or intramural sports; half participate in the fine arts; and most participate in at least one of over 100 campus clubs and organizations.

We are looking for students who have achieved success in areas outside of the classroom, too. The type of experience itself really doesn't matter--it can be community service, participating in athletics, leading the student council, a part-time job, or following your own hobby. We are as interested in the length of commitment to an activity as well as a diversity of experiences.
